About Us

about

We are on a mission to improve the quality of life for all of Southeast Queens residents. We are committed to reducing health and wealth disparities in people of color as we educate residents about healthier diets and lifestyles while creating wealth and spending money in our own communities. We do this through partnerships with community groups and are happy to continue working with Rochdale Village, Baisley Projects and SNAP Center in Springfield Gardens.

We do this as we simultaneously improve the look and feel of Southeast Queens's most overlooked corridors. Many studies show that community beautification leads to community safety because flowers and green spaces reduce violence. We are committed to enhancing our main corridors with art, flowers, Christmas light, new lamp posts and general corridor improvements.

We host dynamic and engaging community events that connect business owners with community leaders, elected officials and residents. We are most known for our Renaissance Balls and Extraordinary Men & Women of Southeast Queens galas.
